Here's one I heard this afternoon in my bar when I met a couple of old lawyers from the days before DNA.

A guy's before the judge because a woman is suing him for child support.

In his defense the guy says that he wasn't the only one to know the lady's favours and proceeds to trot out a dozen other men who've intimately known the woman, including the judge.

After these proceedings the judge pronounces his verdict citing the "Goods and Exchange Act" for precedent.

"You're guilty", he says to the accused.

"If the provider is uncertain, then the last endorser is responsible".
