GREAT NEWS

This tells me that Some one in the knows. Israeli Pharmaceutical.
sees a great value and a great potential for Pharmos.

This is the single best news that been put on the thread.

Dear David Israel-Rosen and Yosi s:

Please help me to make a decision about what I should do with my Pharmos stock by answering the following questions:

1. If Agis, an Israeli company, now owns 5.2% of Pharmos stock, does that give them a sufficient amount of control to sell the company?

2. If they did not buy the stock for investment purposes, but with the intent of selling the company, what do you estimate some RX would have to pay per share to acquire the company?

3. In your opinion, would it be for less than 2?

4. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to wait for more of a profit?

5. How long do you think it would take for Agis to negotiate such a sale?

6.What can or should be done to prevent such a sale?

Kindest regards,
Don

David,

First of all, when did Agis said this ? I didn't see a filing yet.
Second, so what !! If they bought a stake, that's great. They see the potential and want to be a part of it.
Agis is a small player, and they won't go and buy the entire company. Besides, it's not up their alley, as they're a generic drug manufacturer and are not involved in ethical drugs.

David, You must understand one major issue in the pharmaceutical field. The large companies don't realy like buying the smaller biotechs, they much rather sign partnership agreements which give them a big portion from future revenues of their partner's products.
This industry is much different than the high-tech industry, where acquisitions are a daily event. There are hundereds of biotechs trading on wall-street, yet only a handfull were acquired this year. However, dozens signed partnership agreements with big pharma. That's what will happen in PARS' case as well.

If Agis bought a stake, they understand the potential. They know PARS will be $20 in 3 years, and so they won't go ahead and look for a small profit. Besides, 5% or even 10% doesn't give one full control.
All these conspiracy theories are way off base, and usualy don't happen. Buyout rumors could even turn out in our favour, as the stock will move up on such rumors. I don't mind that one bit.

Take care,
Omer
