David, In June of 1997, Merrill Lynch purchased 19% of Agis Industries from the Arkin family for various clients. Moshe Arkin said that the sale is part of an effort to internationalise trade in the company's shares. This effort could include a future offering of Agis shares on NASDAQ, though there are no definite plans yet for such a float.

Does anyone know if the shares of PARS purchased by Agis were market transactions or a cross involving C.C? Was Merrill Lynch involved in the transaction?
