Gary,

Have been giving a lot of thought as to what can go wrong with being able to function effeciently and you bring up a good point about having a backup ISP access. I am moving in DEC. and have to contact all the phone,cable and isp folks. If there is cable modem service in my area, I will use it and also continue with my current isp. If not, will open additional isp for redundancy.
