Bill, one only has to look at the lack of accomplishments of Congress over the past 4 years to see where Newt would take us. The Republican Congress was given a mandate by the people in 1994 and wasted it in partisan bickering. Now Newt is gone and they have 2 years to get it back together before the next election. I think they have heard the message and will respond in a very positive fashion.

The next Congress will be active and accomplish some real goals and as a result the next President will likely be a Republican. The current self destruction of the Republican leadership is not a death, but a birth of a party more in tune with the American midstream.
