I came across a (FREE) website that shows: patents granted, trademarks granted, internet domain names assigned, insider trading, analyst reports, message board activity, Job postings, SEC filings, short interest, and news for a list of companies you select.

Very valuable information that, for the most part, you can't find anywhere else unless you pay steep subscription fees. Have only had it for a couple days so I can't comment on the timeliness or accuracy yet, but worth filling out the application to sign up (no credit card info required). I'll be especially interested in the coverage of the job postings since this can give an idea of where the company is focussing, their internal growth rate, what new areas they are working, and the level of personnel that have quit (of course, there's a lot of 'reading between the lines' here, but valuable info nonetheless).

P.S. Has SI slowed to a crawl lately, or is it just my cheesy cable modem? Until the “First-Mile” technology problem is solved, it'll become more and more difficult to charge a premium for a “last mile” high-speed CAPABLE connection. Overloading the “last-mile” queue with zillions of high-expectation consumers—before the end-to-end bandwidth is in place—isn't a good plan.
