Tom, I must confess...I didn't use a cash reserve. It so happens that I have been DCA'ing into Fidelity for a number of years now for my daughter's college fund. When AIM told me to buy more shares, I just took some money out of one of the other Fidelity funds I had, usually picking one that was a loser. (For tax purposes since this is not a tax sheltered account).

By the way, I have a couple of Newport images on my web site which you may be interested in publishing. Please e-mail me at Hansen@elnet.com, and I will give you the URL. Since I usually play "fast and loose" with the cash reserve, I'm not sure the numbers will be accurate in Newport, but I have accurate Excel spreadsheets which tell the real story. I just don't know how to put spreadsheets onto a HTML document. I'm using Netscape Composer, part of Netscape ver. 4.04. Maybe if someone out there knows how to do this, they can clue me in. Thanks.

Sincerely,
RFH
