Elmer,

If they can't make enough of them, it's probably not a technical problem, but most likely an overall demand problem.. they have a lot of K6-2 customers now.. they have to be careful how the balance the transition. This is something that even Intel has had problems with (product transitions).

Technically you're right....
and if wasn't for the technical problems, the Merced would already be on the market along with the katmai, Coppermine and Williamette.
