PUBLIC INFORMATION ONLY!!!!You know VS there are a lot of companies whose investors need your expert warning advice like NETSPEAK AND ETEL AND ETC AND ETC the only problem i guess is they would kick your butt all over the net if you tried to save them from themselves,WHAT WAS YOUR LAST TRIPLE AND OR QUADRUPLE vs AND WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO SAVE HERE THE PEOPLE ALREADY IN OR THE LUCKY FEW WHO CAN BUY AT SUCH DEPRESSED PRICES????

Yes, to answer your question directly, large loses can proceed profits. In the case of FTEL, I don't believe the profits will come. If they do, it will be more a one-time event from an extraordinary accounting entry than from an operational gain, IMO. I base this, in large part, because of FTEL's history. If you really believe in working off history than I guess you must think that CD will continue with bad accounting practices. IBM will never be able to capture a part of the PC market, Exxon tankers will hit more reefs and all those banks in 1992 with millions of non performing assets will fail. Gee what was Chase selling for then $12.00? Mike my point is and always will be that this is a bb stock high risk may yield high reward. It is very easy to stand on the sidelines of a bb stock and pick out gaggles of negatives. The trick to being involved in these kinds of stocks is finding a rarity, one that will break out. I am betting this one will run again I noticed that you believe profits will come by June 30, 1998. I hope you are right- although this carrot has been constantly put off. You are wrong and right. I am hoping that 3rd fiscal will see profits. As for the carrot here you are correct this company has a long history of putting off major goals. No excuse for this. You'll have to excuse me if I and many others don't consider the bulls, or the company's word, credible. You will have to excuse me and many many more others think the same of you. As William said, what ever happened to the DVG demos from 12-97? I believe he was referring to something else but if he was talking about the demos they obviously did not get the results that we all as investors hoped for. But I am not throwing dirt on them just yet. Besides who is to say that JM Best was not one of those companies. What happened to the ill-fated Intrine order? I really thought all this time you knew the answer to that one (puzzled) Intrine bit off more than it could chew and Ftel became way to anxious to jump into this new market place with an order. They wanted to create hype and recognition of their little company. To a man there they know now that was a mistake. seth
