Maxer,

I did not know that DELL was announcing today after the close - I thought it was later this month. No wonder it popped up a little today. As you say that it moves up after earnings, so it appears that 69 will be the key resistance since it does not appear, so far, that it will break 69 today. If DELL does not break 69 within a week or so, such action could be hinting of a topping out process. Guess that the earnings and forward looking comments will give further direction.

Dell could well be a very good short at these levels. For the past 4 months, the RSI has been in a distinct downtrend even as the price has continued to make new highs. I have found this to be a very reliable indicator although you never know when the price trend will change. If the price fails to make new highs on this run up, we could see a sharp turn downwards in the price.
