As for shortage of shares at other brokerages, it is no doubt to vinik and other insiders grabbing up large blocks of shares for hedging (shorting) purposes. They most likely have a standing order at most major brokerages that "all available shares to short should be given to this list of people as a priority" OC, There are shares everywhere. Insiders are selling constantly. I shorted another 1000 today. I am going to bring the total to 10K shares short and ride it from there. I could not find a brokerage house without shares today. The game is over and the insiders know it. Glenn
