>Yeah, right! Which is more crooked -- having an extra-marital affair and trying to hide it? Or waxing eloquent about "family values" and then fighting tooth-and-nail to prevent the Family Medical Leave Act from becoming law?<

It depends upon why one waxed eloquent about "family values" and then fought tooth-and-nail to prevent the Family Medical Leave Act from becoming law. The Family Medical Leave Act is not a principle, but a mere piece of legislation. It may have presented ramifications contradicting the good principles of the person voting against it. On the other hand honesty is a principle, and when one has an extra-marital affair, one breaks the principle. When one tries to hide it, one breaks the principle yet again.

>While I would be not get all enthusiastic in supporting the behavior of a lecherous person, I still will vote for him any day, were my choice only between he and the hideous hypocrisy of most of the Republicans.<

Your married lecher is by definition hideously hypocritical. On the other hand one can have moral recourse to vote against a piece legislation.
