Even if we begin to drop soon, the numbers are still climbing and as you stated to Patrick, we need some time to work off the high numbers, so there is time. In fact, my numbers for the next several days are:

8,419
8,794
9,934
12,009
11,329
10,187
10,741
10,062
8,270
7,221
6,323
5,191
5,130
4,523
4,930
4,483
4,587

So as you can see, even if we are negative -1000 for the next four days, we will still be at +8000. However, going forward from there we will drop quickly. You should be good for a few more days....

-Scott

<without one final death rally to take prices well beyond the old highs before the bull finally falls over on its side>

Yes, but how do you know this has not already happened? I mean, what if this is a salami decline where the market comes up a bit then slices a bit of meat off....then declines and comes up a bit and slices a bit of meat off....

and so on.

A stairstep decline, if you will. That is to say, the high is already there but longer term players are guessing they are right, that they can catch the top. They think like you, that the bull could not have died yet. That the market can be boosted to higher highs until "they" say it can decline.

Well, it's just a thought. For my own part, I think my experience with @Home will prevent me from ever buying an internet stock and I don't care if Jerry has 6 hands to wave.

Any who, I'm more conservative with regard to upside at this point.
