Why do I think you are right? I have heard that Boeing is a about 60% done with their terminal replacement program. Does anyone out there have an idea when DELL first started shipping PCs to Boeing? Also, does anyone have any other indications from other current large accounts concerning buying trends?

Greg

VG... Ive been on this thread about four months. You were saying before the last report that the Dell run was over. Were you right then? NO. Are you right now? Probably not. Best of luck to ya.
BTW, if you are an MD, then Im Mr. Dells son. Yea, thats the ticket.

That's how I understood your original message. I believe what I and others on this thread would like is your rationale. You are saying that a multi-year trend will be broken in a couple of days. This certainly is possible. However, what is the reason for your feelings?
Do you expect sales in Europe to slow?
Do you expect Dell to stumble in its efforts to build its server business?
Do you expect the demand for high-end machines to dry up?
Do you expect corporate technology spending to slow in 1999?

These, and many other questions are reasonable, and are examples of the type of analysis we would like to hear from you to support your position.

re Dell will not grow as before
Dont believe it for a minute.
Dell will grow as before, maybe not more, but as much as before, and at least for 3-5 years.
