Okay I asked him. The short answer is "Yes". The long answer is more complicated. But one thing, he said it wouldn't cause the problems I have which is 5 minute delay time. So it's deeper than the post that Tom linked,

with respect to the Mae whatchamacallits. This private peering and echo stuff mentioned in that post would just be between @Home and Sprint. So it should not bother you. Unless you are having 5 minute delays as well then it's much worse using @Home than a normal ISP.
