PBS Digital Week will also feature a crash course on digital TV and interactive segments on the work of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. By Thursday, PBS will unveil its digital Web site, which will include educational material, a schedule of digital presentations on PBS and links to related Web sites.

Viewers may benefit by going deep into a subject, entering a chat room, or talking to the talent. ''This programming,'' Clark says, ''will be two-way interactive, not a passive event like just watching TV.''

Wright is one of my hobbies, I even design and built a prairie style house, I can't wait for this. Frank Burns is doing the show, he also did one Jefferson, who is also one man that I have researched. I almost want to go out and buy a HDTV set to see it on. We will all be getting HDTV tuners on our PCs as standard equipment, just like sound cards, DVD drives. The DVDs I am selling in my store come with two sides recorded, one standard aspect ratio and the other HDTV letter box style so they are ready to go for HDTV viewing. HDTV is going to be big, and is going drive consumers in masses to the WEB. How all this changes the PC industry is something that should be watch closely.
