>> I, again unlike you, am not married to one company

How can you hype Cisco on every telecom equipment thread and say that you are not married to any one company. From following this thread for far too long it is apparent to me that your investment in Ascend it is likely one tenth or less your total investment in Cisco.

Gary, I am invested in future technology companies as well. Don't put CSCO in the same class as MSFT. It is not even close. CSCO is a sales machine not a tech innovator. It is apparent that you are heavily in CSCO, all I have to do is look at your posts and how you try to defend CSCO, your favorite. My favorite is obviously ASND, along with many other future companies.

Having said that, I am not saying CSCO will do poorly. They will be outperformed by many other techs in 1999. NOVL was like CSCO once upon a time. APPLE was also big once. Don't get carried away with sales leaders with poor vision.

Good luck, Gary.

OT: Gary, you have the interpersonal skills of a scorpion. I suggest a course offered by Dale Carnegie: "How to Win Friends and Influence Enemies."

Your negative balderdash is important, however. It serves as a benchmark for how NOT to behave on the Silicon Investor threads.

Thank you for your "service,"

Griff Gregory

Gary,

I think it might enlighten the pro ASNDer's here if you told us what you do at Cisco Systems Inc. If this would cause a problem with your employer because they may not approve of your posting to SI then we'll understand. But at this time for all we know, you could be John Chambers himself :-)
