Kirk..I do a lot of short term plays (not a day trader looking for 1/8 point)...But I also hold some stocks long term...As for GMGC, I hold a small position. They have little in the way of earnings but lots of potential, so the stock is news driven at the moment. The Intuit news was good for the long term prospects of the Company, But actually I was hoping they would be named as a partner during the MSFT/QCOM press conference this afternoon about their new wireless alliance. Unfortunately, they just released the names of the carriers, Bell South, Sprint, US West, etc. There is still a good chance some of the major carriers will carry GMGC's "Portico" service (11 carriers are trialing the service and the Bell South CEO sits on their Board). With GMGC trading between $6 and $7, an announcement of a major carrier deal for "Portico" would be good for a quick double.
