Why not just say "immoral", then, or something like that, rather than "promiscuous", Mr. K? The problem with the word "promiscuous" is that its dictionary meaning is "random," "indiscriminate", "lacking standards of selection", etc. It therefore seems to me it would be more appropriate to apply it to "swingers", say, than to people living together in a long-term out-of-wedlock relationship (particularly since so many of these relationships do end up in marriage).
