Dale, good point. I agree that tv is basically a has-been technology now with the internet, sort of like what radio became after tv took over. I think Seinfeld quitting really really hurts, because that was the must see TV that kind of held it all together. NBC is gonna really really get hurt, as couch potatoes like me used to veg out and watch another comedy or two on Thursday night, even though Friends has really dumb writing and there isn't nearly enough bare skin shown. Now I don't watch NBC at all on Thursdays, and supposedly lots of other people don't either. Maybe GE will dump NBC soon.
Incidentally, just how do you play these internets long on a day to day basis. I'm not much of a daytrader but would like to learn. Don't these stocks always open way up? But that doesn't deter you?
