<<last opportunity.....>>

Not at all.

One of the nicest things about CPU (and these types of retailers in general), is that they give you a good opportunity to accumulate over a reasonable period of time while they build from a cyclical bottom. Conversely, they give you several good opportunities to get out at tops. These points coincide amazingly well with the points of maximum pessimism and optimism - not to mention the well-timed insider buys and sells. I believe CPU to be a bargain here. I also think it is a bargain at 20 a share. I'll be buying a lot more over the next few weeks and months.

Just for grins, read through the first 300 messages on this thread (it won't take that long)and compare the mood of the poster on the date of the message to a chart of CPU. It is astonishing how many people hated the stock and were selling, shorting or buying puts at major bottoms - and then how many were ready to jump in at tops (with glowing predictions of tremendous advances in short periods of time).

It's been quite a while since I've seen sentiment so negative on CPU. On the Yahoo thread today, there was one guy who was explaining why he sold his stock in the morning (at the very low - right after the release of the lukewarm earnings report) - just minutes before Microsoft announced it would be shipping Office 2000 to retailers in Q2, and hours before Intel announced that it saw demand for PC products gaining momentum.

I maintain a very strong buy recommendation on CPU.

Does the reasoning sound familiar? It preceded a 10-month runup in the stock.
