The Intel announcement is quite interesting IMO. It shows there is Still room for Both AMD and Intel, and that consumers will continue to gobble up PC's during this Christmas season.

Does anyone know how many Celeron As were sold last Q? (And PIIs if you have the data)
According to someone on the yahoo MB, Intel said Celeron sales will be double this Q over last. I don't think this is a big deal considering that the Celeron A was released during the last week of August. With the increased number of selling days and Christmas coming up I would have expected an easy 2.5-3X increase. (I am not including "non-A" Celeron processors because those didn't sell well and they are being phased out.)

Also, IF the problem with whatever it was with 4-way Xeons has been resolved, isn't it safe to assume that quite a bit of the increased revenue will come from sales of these Xeons?

Thanks to whoever can answer my Celeron A question.
