Hi gc,

The point is not waiting for upgrades, the point is buying equities that have most of the risk taken out. I don't think you have many more brokerage firms that can downgrade. So, with expectations low, the potential hammerings are reduced.

Also consider what happens to good companies whose stock is cut by two thirds. This event doesn't escape the institutions, like Fidelity, that have made a business out of buying good companies on the dips. If and when this stock starts to rebound, the lemmings will run like crazy to get in.

So, please do turn out the lights. The more gloom I hear, the less risk I see.
