I wouldn't get too concerned about the sales staff comment. I'm sure everyone would like the IBM sales staff from the 70's and early 80's. The comment probably just means that they are hiring sales staff. In fact I just checked their website and they are hiring oodles of people - sales, development, etc.

Chill out, Chris. I've never met an engineer in a tech company who didn't think that the sales staff sucked and that the competitors were all more effective. At the same time I never met a sales staff that didn't think that some competitor or other had better products more effective engineers, less bugs, etc, than their product.

I have seen people whine about the management of this company for two years now and its really stupid. Given how cutthroat this market is, how hard it is to grow as fast as XYLN has grown(and not have the wheels fly off) and basically manage to avoid serious problems you have to be impressed with this company's management.
