Except for perhaps speculating that if there's a blizzard in Chicago it may be too thin to chance a trade.

BMI has a weather service with their feed, I think. You can put up weather patterns and so forth using Ensign software with BMI from what I can recall.

I imagine if I were trading AG stuff I would have a lot of interest in weather; but trading Financials as I do weather does not seem to lend itself as an indicator that would do much good.

Hi Tom, I see that Patrick has already responded to your query.

I don't consider weather in trading the financials--now it is a factor when it comes to trading some of the commodity markets.

Seasonality, on the other hand, is a factor when it comes to trading the stock market--there is reliable statistical evidence to suggest that certain periods of the year are supportive of rallies and other periods supportive of declines.
