That's a tough one.

Software has an easier time responding to a clock, internal or PC based, than keeping addition on individual trade segments. That's a nice feature of Daytrader.

Daytrader has their own proprietary feed, I take it? Do you know if the feed itself maintains that info or if the software parses it out?

Paul, I use Daytrader for my charting and at the bottom, you know, where the time selection drop down menu is ... at the very bottom of the list is "User Defined". Just hit that one and set the tics to the number you want, you can have as many user definables as you like. I don't believe there has been a change in any of the versions ?? Maybe just an oversight ?
