Jim

A Carlin trend company which is on the super bargain counter is Great Basin GBGLF selling at around 40 cents US. This company is run by the proven and successful management called Hunter-Dickenson. It is drilling on trend with the Ken Snyder mine owned by Franco Nevada. This mine will come on stream with huge rwserves and costs in $80 per ounce range. There is every indication that GBGLF has a similar and possibly larger deposit.

In recent weeks two offsetting properties to the GBGLF Ivanhoe property have changed hands. Franco and Euro Nevada issued $33 million in shares to acquire the Midas property immediately north of the Ivanhoe from Romarco Minerals. A month earlier Barrick entered a joint venture agreement with Meridian Resources to explore the Rossi gold property immediately south of the Ivanhoe. The Ivanhoe has the potential and is likely to develop as an elephant.
