Sort of OT* I pulled this off of a Gorrilla Game email list. Someone posted the following about Silkroad. Does anyone know anything about them? I saw bandwidth and thought RMBS. Are they a competitor? Forgive my ignorance if this is completely unrelated... Has anyone heard of SilkRoad. They claim to have produced proprietary technology (over 200 patents) that can allow one laser to transmit approx. 93 gigabits over a single fibre. This technology is reported to be cheaper to buy and maintain than Wave Division Multiplexing (nearest competitor) and seems to be a big leap in the area of telecommunications. I've looked at their web site and the company is not offering shares at the moment. Could this company become a Gorilla in the bandwidth sector?? JB
