I don't see it myself. What happens if Gordon comes back and says we have 2/3 of the float. You can not expect 1000 investors to all follow one game plan. It just won't happen. Now it this stock only had 5 million share's in the float I could see how something like this could be helpful.

voluntary...non-threatening...pointless...meaningless...nothing worth getting excited about...friendly chat amongst friends...a way to combat boredom...somebody collecting data that he does not have to spend his time collecting...satisfying to somebody's curiosity...an interested person just doing something for his enjoyment...etc...
