Roq,<<I feel a little dismissed by your response. I believe there may be some additional room for profit in this stock if these jerks and starts are analyzed a little. >> No intent to be dismissive or glib at all. My point is that there is a longer term inevitable in terms of data storage demand that I like better then the near term analysis. That you have spoken with analysts/prgorammers does not weigh on my thought path re: that demand. I am eager to hear your idea about a little more room for profit if, in fact, you mean the near term. As I said in the post I am still a believer in the long term for all the reasons I have mentioned before. I have simply changed my posture on Seagate from less of a near term press to a longer term hold. <<But sometimes I think on this thread we get carried away too far with science. Sometimes we lose sight of the stock. >> I haven't been carried away by the science...promise <g>. In fact, in the rest of my post I discussed specifically my position and recent change.<<I want to question your judgment on the Dragon Stake, too.>> <<However, don't lose sight of the fact that the Dragon stake might be a pearl under cultivation, not a tomato. >> Pearl, tomatoe, diamond-in-the-rough, whatever; my comment was more along the lines of trying to establish a fair value on the holdings today. as I mentioned in a previous post it is a bit difficult to do at this point so I was a bit glib, sorry. I am very bullish about the whole concept of speech recognition and was early in expressing that enthusiasm along with PX. I linked a story at that time that I will search for that I think you wil enjoy. But have to search a bit. <<As I have previously disclosed, I have no position in SEG at present.>> I think this may be good place to be at this particular moment and note that it is comparable to the position that mano has on the stock. I am not 100% comfortable with the stock because of the resistance at current valuation. So, question for you: What will it take for you to buy or short the stock? Thanks for the views and for keeping me honest <G>. best, Stitch
