New CKFR thread is #4 on SI "hot list" We should change threads more often Now that we actually have a thread sponsor, we might change the theme down the road on this thread, to something like; we saw it, we suffered, and then we retired....BUT we're not changing threads. I think the title spells our combined frustrations to this date, being mostly long term holders, way..way early on a massive shift in commerce, and suffering our own individual setbacks, financially & emotionally, as CheckFree ushers in this shift that will not only effect us today, but our unborn. I was geeked, and still am on portals...they are the 1990's equivalent to a Whore House in a Cattle Town in the 1880's when it comes to e-Commerce. I commend Banc One for for their Corporate Participation in the support of portal on line banking delivery....and the 17 MILLION COWBOYS you got coming through town. Better then a Sky-Scraper in a Corn Field..I wager. And here everybody is a talking about how much Exicte could earn...$125 Million? I'm stupid but I think Banc One will do better then that..especially if they are paying the TAB. The one thing which will get me...and I know this day is coming...as sure as I'm an Idiot... CNBC..Squak Box or Power Lunch....Pete Kight CEO of CheckFree. Bla..Bla..Bla.. So what is it that you do MR. Stupid Internet CEO? We account for 80% of all the Checking & Savings Accounts in the US which are On Line via the Internet for bill payment and 80% of all the Bills Presented to those Banks by billers.... Then do a little name dropping Bell & Howell, EDS, Integrion, Chase, AT&T, Malaysia, New Zealand, Canada, Australia..and 1000 or so other names you could mention, but then this it's a 5 minute interview....and you'd be here for hours, spit'um all out....and contrary to other internets, you will make a shit pot full of money for your shareholders. Now it that Fiction? Doubt it..........That's CheckFree.
