All that is easier to get with your voice. No need to lug around bulky laptops and pay their high price and stop whatever you are doing to sit down and be stationary. The fact is voice applications and machine/voice apps are already all around you. It's just that they are in their infancy with so much potential. General Magic is stepping up to the plate with their magicTalk platform which is wonderfully showcased in their top notch Portico service. A whole new level of info access will be made available by magicTalk applications such as Quicken.com. How can you possibly argue that a VUI doesn't have its place and that place is huge? As for the not needing the NOC, that's seems to me to be the same as arguing that you don't need the ISP's NOC for GUI apps. I guess we could go back to static info on a cd and pass/store info on floppies :^) Kurt
