Brian,

Having read all the threads on AMD, I find this one to be perhaps the most interesting and insightful, as well as, non confrontational and supportive. One can't go on making personal attacks, we're all in this to make money.

Anyway, as one who has made a little on AMD, I just thought I'd share this opinion.

As to direction of the stock, with Intel reaching all time highs, it is interesting to note that AMD has lagged slightly the exhuberance experienced by Intel. All indications are that AMD is performing admirably, mkt share up, yields up, inovation with K7 on track, new alliances, industry support, and so on.

I for one am not expecting a peak in share price until early next year, even though industry reports are indicating upward growth, due in part to the lag relative to Intel. If there are no significant negative macroeconomic factors, this still presents a nice buying opportunity for AMD.

Just an opinion.
