hi pham,

I'd go with the 25th, I called and got it direct from the company this week.

Here's my take on earnings. SMTC is gonna have a very good quarter, based in part on turns business really kicking in to help the top & bottom line. By releasing earnings on the 25th after close, people are gonna be forced to eat turkey all day Thursday, even though they may at that time realize they should be eating crow instead. When the markets re-open, SMTC will charge ahead to close out the year with a bang. By then, long-term conditions should be well in place to make 1999 a VERY pleasant year for SMTC (and you and I, Todd, Andy, Leeza, Sword, Todd, Dave(s), and all the rest of the SMTC shareholders).

Regards, JB
