RE:"EP" "I guess he'll squirm enough tomorrow after he see's Dell's latest figures on market share."

I suppose that's why CPQ came up with their own BTO division. CPQ is no. 1 in retail and no. 1 in servers. but Dell has been sawing CPQ off at the ankles.

Mazman,

Do not underestimate Mr. Pheiffer for a second! The man
knows what he is doing and Compaq shareholders, myself
included, applaud what he and his team have done for
shareholder value since the company's founding.

Trivia Question and obvious answer:

Name the company which achieved $1.0 billion in annual
revenues and made the Fortune (Forbes?) 500 list faster than
anyother?

Correct. It was Mr. Pheiffer's.

As a shareholder of Dell as well, there's plenty of business to
go around, but Dell better not rest on its laurels.

Good luck, Allan
