I think they changed the date because they were looking to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Theyre down to the regulatory wire for releasing results and they had to go with Intuit (good, but not carrier grade).

The best you would see in terms of a carrier announcement would be a tech or market trial.

If I were GMGC I'd start reducing costs and acquiring subscribers at all costs. Those high paying subscribers are the gold, selling them might be a good exit strategy.

As for tomorrow, I too have buy orders in. I'm a little less greedy - I ordered 5100 @ $5.50. If it hits $3.25 I'll go another 10K too.

Nice scenario, Otter. Remember, though, that the last PR went out at 4:02 A.M. EST.

Interesting times.

So what to do tomorrow?

Options:
a) Sell at the open with a gap down likely and play the shorts game
b) Hold your position and worry about it all when the water's are less choppy.

I guess I'm lucky here - my investment in GMGC long ago became pure profit so why not 'let it ride'?. Investing vs trading - as someone else said its time to decide what you're doing with this.

Whatever happens this stock will be comfortably above today's prices in the not too distant future so you've only got to worry if you need those 'profits' today. Otherwise sit tight and relax or if you are a trader you'd better be good because NO ONE knows the real tops and bottoms at the moment.

BTW, I think Sea Otter is on the money with the 'big news' tomorrow scenario so there is nothing to worry about - but that is just my very humble opinion. Either way a carrier or two will be public very soon and a 'horizontal portal' is not far behind. I am EXCITEd. A very nice way to end '98.

Good luck to all longs - just remember these are better than could be expected Q3 results (if you've been listening). Expect to see some very nice figures for Q4 and a lower cash burn rate. Intuit announcement is excellent news and so is the removal of DataRover from the picture (50 employees off the payroll and a clearer playing field).

Seconds out - I still believe in Magic.

I'm amused that in general most posters seem to believe that GMGC will be substantially down in the next days. As I read the Q3 report, I found nothing disturbing in it.

OK, we all agree the same (not really bad news)has been the case in July with the Q2 report. And we know that it helped the shorts and MM's to sink GMGC to the recent level.

I'm a kind of sceptic if history will repeat now. Maybe there's a sort of rescue announcement today or tomorrow. Or maybe the difference is just that GMGC in July was near (perhaps overvalued) all time highs, while a price of 5-6$ seems neutral to me.

I have a buy limit out @ $ 4.6.
This has been a strong resistance level during the last months, IMHO. I'm out GMGC for now and I want to build up a core position of GMGC, if possible, at this level. I fear that there might be no chance to get it. (typical view of being out a stock ;-)

In case GMGC will hit 3$, I will buy as much as I can.

Regards,

Juan
