Under the circumstances, I may quit the vealie strategy and go back to selling.

Might be a good move, especially if this correction gets moving. Take a look at this chart featuring a spin on the traditional A/D lines.

We've been on a tear for 20 straight trading days and gone from an extremely oversold condition to an extremely overbought condition. +400 is about as high as you can go on this scale and -700 is as low as I've ever seen the graph.

I tried to sell a few things yesterday, but Bill's speech at the V-Day service quashed the market.

Tom and others,

1999 may or may not have a war, but it certainly is going to have Y2K. Has any one factored this into their planning? I don't plan to do any Vealies past Jan or Feb '99.

Same here Tom... all is quiet. CTAL is inching toward a sale and looks almost incongruous with it's persistent increases. EGRP and PGEX, however, have been leading the way to the cellar. 2 houses issued downgrades on PGEX after the quick run-up. I think EGRP has just run a little low on hot air.
