Howard,

I've been getting "invalid disk" or something and can't get past - I currently have the primary active on the 7.6G (the secondary IDE master) as a messed-up Win98 (I think the boot record was inadvertantly on the 3.2G primary master but I didn't tumble to that until I installed WinNT over it). Which is why I am attempting to re-install Win98 on the 7.6g primary master. My first action was going to be to re-format that partition. But I'll take your question as an indication that I should be able to get past the "invalid disk" under the D,A,SCSI boot and re-examine that point. I'll boot A,C,SCSI on the Win98 boot diskette and format D: /s and then reboot D,A,SCSI and see if I can get to the boot diskette.

More to come...

Thanks, Paul
