Interesting. So what you are saying is that there are no MIDDLE class in BELIZE. No shop keepers or tour guides. No resturant owners or scuba guides. If you read the article it says that the plan is to build a Suburbia with a Infastructure . Also if Industry does indeed starts to move in to that area there will be a need of housing if for nothing else the managment that comes with the plants. Keep talking.

Jhild, let me see if I can straighten something up for you here.In all probability, I'm sure that the large portion of that $100 mil will be put to use for erecting mass housing units for the underprivelaged, such as single story cheap townhouses (units all stuck together), or some such thing as that. However, that $70,000 cost for an AFG house I was led to believe is for a full blown model with evey ammentity you can have. I was also led to believe that a stripped down version was supposed to sell for $30,000 or so. That price makes it very attainable for a couple, or small family with two incomes (even using the minimal $10 an hour wage level). I'm sure that you are in no position to tell every one here that there won't be anybody looking to get into a 170mph wind proof home if they can afford it, and financing is available. How many of them would sell thru that $100 mill block of cash is anyones guess, but I think its safe to say that AFG has an open door to sell to anyone interested.
