The takeover rumors have been going around for quite a while. The only rumor that had any truth to it was the LSI deal at 28 and Stein canned it. I seriously doubt if VLSI in in play with the stock trading at 11 if Stein wouldn't take 28 a few months ago. Of course several companies might want to buy VLSI, but from what I can tell, the company is not for sale.

This is the second stock I own this week that couldn't breakout on company news, or earnings or something fundamental. That the only way it broke resistance was through rumor. I hate rumors. Unfortunately, it seems the only way some stocks can get attention these days are from rumors. Hope this rumor has substance. This company should have never gotten down this low. Back to 20.
