I can add that in my experience with modern (c 1994) monitors and newer, driving them above spec hasn't caused any damage--my understanding for the reasons why parallels Spot's. Only thing you'll notice is no picture until you turn down the refresh/resolution or use VGA/safe mode.

Spots and thread,

What files do I need to install on a brand new primary drive to recognize the CD drive. I have a newly assembled system and I'm having trouble recognizing the CD Drive to install W98.

Thanks in advance,
Orbit
