>>3Com Sees PalmPilot Contributing 10% of Sales: Bloomberg Forum<<

That is extreme growth, great article and comments by the head dog...we will upgrade him to a show dog if he keeps this up and the stock gets above $40, until then Eric, back to the kennel! :-)

I like the CSCO comment "3Com now is ''broadly focused'' into all areas of data communication, while rival Cisco Systems Inc., the No. 1 computer- networking company, lacks that, he said."

The end approaches... again.

The trading window has now closed for 3Com employees... until after the earnings announcement sometime next month.

This is the regular quiet period, nothing unexpected... unless you believe the Com.Com.Com Last Call estimates. Wouldn't that be nice!

>>3Com already has partnerships with No. 1 database software maker
Oracle Corp., Symbol Technologies Inc., the largest maker of
bar-code scanners, Germany's SAP AG, the biggest business-management
software developer, and others. All enable collection of and access
to data on the go using the PalmPilot.<<

This is a really powerful combination of technology. Plus
Ellison is in the dog house with Oracle, and needs some big
wins. I think combination of Palm Pilot and Oracle database
will be "unbelievable".

Let's see now, how many companies want the Palm Pilot?

1) MSFT

2) Apple

3) Oracle alliance

4) SAP alliance

5) 10K software programmers (free R&D)

6) Nokia I think wanted the OS.

there's probably several more, but can't remember
them off top of my head.
