Some anal-ysts and some on this thread are talking as if the world is coming to an end and no body is going to buy pc's anymore!! Intel has increased its forecast and other chip companies are also forecsting the same. We have survived russian ruble crisis, monica crisis and will survive this iraq crisis and DELL will march forward with its sales to new height.

Large ordering of chips doesn't necessarily mean large PC sales OR are chips only purchased for PCs that are already sold? I know DELL's model is direct and others are copying, but it isn't that direct is it? And do the chip industry forecasts ever prove to be innaccurate?

Something to think about before buying DELL or GTW or CPQ ...
