Oh, I wouldn't say all otherwise cloudy.

Think about it....what was the best possible news we could have from BD within the short time they have been working? We know that the answer could not be "we confirmed Guido's numbers" -- there has not been enough time to do the work to do so. That leaves only two possibilities:

1. Looks good, need more time to confirm
2. Looks bad, forget about it.

What did we get?
<BD&C has advised Golden Eagle that its field geologists have confirmed the existence of significant gold mineralization on the Company's Cangalli properties.>
and
<The BD&C work did support the existence of gold mineralization at various locations on the property as announced by the Company in May.>
and my personal favorite
<In fact, the Company believes that the information developed by BD&C supports the tenor of the May 22, 1998 press release.>

This IMO is the best possible news from BD.

<more charges bing filed or already filed............> no not "more" charges, this is the same tired news from the summer. We always knew it was a possibility SEC would file. Looks like GE is not going to roll over though.

What else? We got no money. Gees, how long have we known that for?

<Sorry about the cap locks, I ain't yellin, but no time to retype it.>
Oh please. That is pathetic.

Have a great weekend everyone. Best regards, Eric

Thanks for posting the 8k Probart, as usual you are right on the ball, and the first one out with it. Thanks too for the calls.

I know the key words you locked onto, "significant mineralization", and they are good words, but then we all knew that, it is Bolivia, it is Cangalli. Question still remains, how significant, and what's it cost to get it out? So the only real news in this 8k is the SEC expanding the charges. The BD stuff is there to soften the blow, IMO, that's what I'd do.

Here's some key words/phrases I locked onto, and they were not unexpected.

Just being a realist here, not swayed by anyone, or any other company. Remember, filings, official releases, BD reports, etc. are all I believe without absolute proof.

"first phase field evaluation" - more evaluation needed, need to pay BD more for the next phase, where's the cash coming from.

"more extensive sampling" - of course, we all called this one

"further work to determine the potential" - ditto

"additional financing" - goodie more dilution coming?

"expand the civil action" - well you called this one right.

Then the rest of it is the usual disclaimers and warnings.

I tell ya, we'll be talking the same talk, and walking the same walk, a year from now. Would rather be on a nice flat to do it, but fraid we'll be doing it from where we are now.

Regards,

Jim
