The message count will take you directly to your first unread posting in the thread." I know that but, if there are a lot of unread posts, I prefer to click on the header, scan the posts and only click on the ones that I think might be of interest. I think this started happening when I changed my bookmark URL to include my user id and password. Thanks for your help - you too, Bill
