To Thread: Having lurked on thread for past week, I wanted to write regarding the posts stating that this thread should be "invite" only or moved off SI to private location. I understand the reasoning for this opinion after what happened with several stocks here this week, but it seems unfortunate to take such steps. I come to this thread as a beginning investor (yes, partially because of the WSJ article) and already am learning about the trading many of you seem to do so well. I know when I can afford it, I can join Societe Anonyme. This will be in the future because now I have very limited funds and I have to use them to trade on small quantities of stocks. Reading books about trading is fine but the real world is where you learn by doing. I have to make my own decisions, but I sure appreciate reading what you all have to say. Maybe you can have a way to identify pump and dumpers or someone can post a "watch out" notice about a message. That way we "newbies" can still be part of this. Please remember that you ALL were new to trading at one time and I'm sure you appreciated any advice, learning, general information, and recommendations that you received. I hope you don't deny us the same chance. Just because some of us are new doesn't mean we are here to take advantage of you (well, maybe of your knowledge but not your money). Thanks for your time. Sorry about long post -my first one. Mr. TokyoMex, you do a very generous service by making your choices available. I personally thank you for the opportunity to learn from you and others here. D.
