Ron, the US and this administration are clueless as to ME politics. IMHO regardless of Israel, Saddam is placing a political trap to the US. He will back down at the least minute and prove to his people that he can stand against the world which in turn will solidify his position. In the future most countries would be tiered of the US policy and start dealing with Iraq (trade & investments - he has big oil reserves) - Then he will start to expand BWDIK Haim
