Sam, maybe we can have a bit of dialog here, maybe not... My feelings about the "luck" of longevity have struck penni as out of the main stream. I admit that it true. Then, there is E's daughter. A good thing she has been preserved? Isn't there some time when the 'waffles are not worth the walk?' I have promised myself that, when the physical apparatus gives out, I will no longer feed it. If it ain't giving me what I need, I will stop giving it what it needs. And, from the start of your note. Lucky? Is the measurement in terms of seconds, minutes, years, or decades, of our 'being alive" something that makes the longer the better? Do we fear the mystery of the nothingness that follows, of the everythingness that follows? Why does "life" have to be so absolutely desirable that its absence is an abomination? You say: You were meant to understand George and no one else. Seems from your posts you have not done so. I, again, do not understand.
