I suggest anyone who is interested in understanding the psychological make up of a fascist, reread the post I am responding to. It very eloquently states the paranoid fantasies of someone who would quickly sacrifice democracy and democratic principles to vote for some demagogic strongman promising to cleanse the nation of its moral ills. Don't have the time to do a line-by-line response to the post, but here are some of my thoughts. the rotting carcass of our nation's moral constitution. The best a pervert can do in this world is vote, and considering the half-witted things for which they vote, even this is a grievous matter. Even among the most die-hard ideologues of the left, rarely does one find such contempt and rage toward the United States of America and its people. These self-appointed arbiters of our nation's moral health have the nerve to call those who advocate a tolerant, multi-cultural, and libertarian vision of the country "un-American." Well, I love the United States of America, warts and all. Sure America's got its problems, its social ills, its persistent historical ghosts. But we do much better than most nations in addressing those issues. Every country in the world grapples with issues like abortion, civil rights for sexual minorities, and the amorality of its young people. I just came back from a week in Germany, where they're just getting around to granting people born in the country the right to vote and only beginning to realize the value of the Internet. Let me say that on issues of race and values, we are way decades ahead of the rest of the world and years ahead technologically. If liberals are in the boat, then those in the RR will do well to jump ship, swimming away as fast as possible, trusting themselves to the comparatively nurturing sea. Following such logic to its ultimate conclusion means picking up a gun and killing your political enemy,. Luckily we live in a country where political differences are resolved through debate and civil discourse. It is crusty-mouthed and perverted liberals who support this sort of filth and barbarism. So then when you speak of morons, you unwittingly refer to liberals because there exists nothing more moronic than those who literally kill their children and who support unfettered smut. Even with its faults the RR is so much more preferable than the sick lunatics that are the liberals. The mere existence of the good citizen shines the light of decency upon such an unrepentant liberal whore, convicting her of her filthy reality-- inviting her to rise, perchance to act human. But of course the invitation is always a vain one, because the liberal whore is no human, but a depraved beast. She has not even a shred of true human character and discipline. So instead of turning from her corrupt life, she recoils from the sublime light of goodness, huddling in the comfort of darkness to do the only thing her sapless nature will allow: she attempts to ridicule what she is not-- she attempts to ridicule goodness and truth. Such rhetoric is reminiscent of the NSDAP's invective against the Weimar Republic in 1930s Germany. Vividly depicting ones political enemies as somehow less than human is to me truly frightening. I have a feeling that if the leaders of the Republican Right ever met someone who spewed such ugly venom, they would tell the person to go back to their bunker. Interesting (though not necessarily indicative of any bigotry) that the author has gone from depicting liberals as stereotypical blacks to prostitutes. This is a little off topic, but prostitutes are people too. They have a hard life, made doubly harder by attitudes such as the above. Most prostitutes hate their work but see no way out of their profession. So give them a break. And shower some Christian compassion upon them.
