Some stocks are traders and some stocks are buy and holds. CBS is a buy and hold, and i am willing to suffer thru ups and downs to achieve the full value i see in the stock. I have owned TWX (Time Warner) from 40, currently 98. Other long term holds are WCOM, STT, INTC, UIS, and MMC. I have sold many stocks to take quick profits, only to see the stocks keep on running after a dip . I see CBS above 40 sometimes in 1999, so i am patient. I also owned CBS when it was independent, waiting for a take-over, which Westinghouse finally provided. I hope to be twice rewarded in CBS as a take-over. I read the article in Barrons about the INF IPO. I found the article generally positive.
PS, other stocks in my long term hold portfolio right now are CD (Cendant), UMG - Media One, and NSCP. Larrry
